Welcome to EYFS!

What a whirlwind couple of weeks! Our new children have settled in really well & are already familiar with our routines & how to behave in & around school. We have seen lots of new friendships forming & confidence growing day by day. 

This week we started our phonics lessons & have already covered S, A, T, P & I. Ask your children at home if they can remember the sounds & the actions to match! 

This week also saw the start of our parent sessions. These are every week on a Tuesday & a Thursday. Parents & carers are welcomed into class to assist their child with some basic skills for the first 5-10 minutes of the morning. We have found these sessions a great success in the past & look forward to seeing you all regularly.

I have to add a special mention to Counsellor Jennifer Purcell for her donation of three brand new prams for our unit & another friend Nicola White for her donation also. The children are already loving their new toys & are getting lots of use from them, thank you!
