Pumpkins & Campfires!!

What a busy week we have had! We started with Halloween activities, including dressing up, pumpkin carving & looking at how to stay safe whilst we are out trick or treating.

The second half of the week, we looked at Bonfire night, why we celebrate this & how to stay safe. We all had the chance to make our very own edible sparkler & talk about how we will use a real one safely. The icing on the cake was our very own fire on Friday afternoon, where we each took turns to bake our marshmallow & then we could sandwich it between two chocolate biscuits to make a smore! They were yummy! We had a fabulous Forest School Friday afternoon outside and also made our own nature pizzas. Lots of imagination & care went into making these.
