Nursery News - 30/3/23

Well, we have had a very quiet week in nursery this week, due to chicken pox doing its rounds! We have missed the children who have been absent and looking forward to seeing them after the holidays.

This week we have had lots of Easter themed activities. We have made Easter cards and pictures. Made and decorated bunnies and eggs in the chocolate scented play dough. The children also took part in an Easter egg hunt outside. The nursery children were paired up with children from reception. They worked together to search for the eggs and they coloured the corresponding egg on their worksheet. Once we had discovered all the eggs we came inside to find that the Easter bunny had left us a treat to enjoy.

Today we also made crispy cakes and decorated them with chicks and chocolate, they were yummy!

Also, we had children on visits this week who are due to start with us after the Easter holidays. They all did very well and we are looking forward to them starting and making lots of new friends.
