Nursery News - 21/04/23

Well, what a busy start to the Summer term!

We have had lots of new little ones start this week and they have all been amazing. They are starting to settle in well with the group and have enjoyed exploring everything nursery has to offer. Sand and water play has been very popular this week. 

We are carrying on with 'Spring and New Life' as our topic. In the creative area we painted baby animals. The children looked at photograps and tried to use the correct colours. We have also been matching animals to their young and played a game on the carpet. On Friday we made Eid cards and spoke about the celebrations some children will be having this weekend. 

It was also Miss Brown's last day today :( We made party hats and joined reception Friday afternoon for a special party. We danced and ate yummy cakes! What a fabulous first week back!

Well done to the children for taking part in the Easter competition over the holidays. The Easter bonnets and decorated eggs were fantastic!
