This week we have been learning all about the life cycle of a frog. The children were amazed to see that our tadpoles have started to grow legs!

In the craft area we created pond collages. We used bubble wrap for frogspawn and black paint to create tadpoles. We also had a go at bubble painting. The children blew into the straws in the paint to create lots of bubbles. We also made frogs using green paint and cardboard tubes.

We developed our numeracy skills whilst playing the frog game. We jumped like frogs on the numbered lily pads and tried to put the numbers in the correct order.

The weather has been lovely this week so we have made the most of our outdoor space. The children have loved playing in the sandpit and on the slides and climbing frame. We have also enjoyed picnic snacks outside in the sunshine.

On Friday it was Miss Ingham's birthday. We had some yummy party food and did lots of dancing. It was a lovely way to finish this half term! :)

Hope you have a fantastic break everyone and we will see you back in nursery on Monday 5th June! :) Lets pray that the sunny weather continues! :)
